Congratulations, You went weird.
Wed, 03/24/2010 - 10:37am — adminThis week Fader Magazine announced the release and free streaming of MGMT’s sophomore album, Congratulations. Catchy riffs mixed with psychedelic surf rock melodies are a far cry from their tremendously successful and far more Pop release Oracular Spectacular. Like many agencies out there, MGMT was a huge part of our 2008 playlist. Unlike many, we would have had the great opportunity to work with them…until their drummer broke his foot three hours before the show.
The Black Eyed Peas ‘Pump It’ Up at The Houston Rodeo
Fri, 03/19/2010 - 12:13pm — adminHouston just doesn’t get much credit when it comes to entertainment. As SXSW sucks up all the publicity for the myriad of concerts and events that unfold in Austin this time of year, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo flies under the radar with the entertainment media. However, every year they host some of the biggest concerts and crowds in Houston. Also noteworthy, it is THE LARGEST rodeo in the WORLD with 78 years of history under its belt buckle, 22,000 volunteers and over $150 million raised specifically for education scholarships. Yeehaw!
Sleep Well San Diego
Thu, 03/11/2010 - 3:42pm — adminImagine; you are hungry, cold, wet, and have not slept more than three hours consecutively in two weeks. You have no idea where your next meal will come from, you have no savings, and you are constantly living in fear that the person that ‘owns’ the corner next to you will harm you and take the few items you own. There is not much sleep on the streets.
One Size for All?
Mon, 03/08/2010 - 10:20am — adminMany of us in the Mowalla office have logged our fair share of promotional and street team hours. In all my years of wearing brand gear I've had one huge pet peeve- the poorly designed, promotional T-shirt.
